IMPERIAL COUNTY ELECTIONS
Dedicated to transparency and accountability for our local government.
As a non-partisan and non-political organization, COLAB does not participate in local, state, or national elections. However, as an organization dedicated to transparency and accountability in local government, COLAB will maintain an online library of local election documents. These documents allow the public to shed light on campaign spending and support that may influence the decisions of elected leaders during their time of public service.
Candidate Forums
We are pleased to announce the 2026 Candidate Forums for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election. In collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Brawley, COLAB will host multiple candidate forums for the Board of Supervisors, Imperial Irrigation District, Superior Court Judge, and Assembly seats. The purpose of these forums is to educate the public about some of the issues, as well as the candidates’ positions on these issues, to provide the public with the best possible information to make their personal decisions in this election process.
The public is encouraged to submit questions for each of the forums, and we thank each of the candidates for their interest in public service as an elected official. We encourage all citizens of Imperial Valley to vote either by mail-in ballot or at the voting centers. As a reminder, all registered voters in California will receive a mail-in ballot. This mail-in ballot can be completed, signed, and returned without postage as long as it is postmarked by June 2, 2026. It can also be returned to the polls on June 2, 2026, as well as at various locations as advised by the Imperial County Election Department.
